David Johnson

Funeral for David Johnson, 44, of Somerville will be Sat., Jan. 30, at 3 p.m. at Union Church of Christ with Bros. Paul Spurlin and Dan Styles officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be Sat., Jan. 30, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Johnson died Thur., Jan. 28, 2016, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born March 20,1971, in Davidson County, Tenn., to the late David Raymond Johnson Sr. and Ruby Ann Spurlin Johnson. He was a substitute teacher for Brewer, the Morgan County School System.

He is survived by his mother, Ruby Ann Spurlin Johnson of Somerville; a sister, Clarissa Cox (Rob) of Henderson, TN; grandfather, Robert F. Spurlin of Somerville; nieces, Julianne, Abbie and Chloe Cox; nephew, Joey Cox; and a host of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Steven McCoy, Roger Garner, Anthony Stevens, Will Spurlin, Thomas Larkin and Jonathon Terry.
