Zettie Lee Wright

Funeral for Zettie Lee Wright, 94, of Hartselle will be Sat., Jan. 30, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. A. Ray Lee, Harold Thompson and Ben Shelton officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sat., Jan. 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wright died Wed., Jan. 27, 2016, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born Sept. 19, 1921, in Morgan County to Alvin Wilson Lee and Dora Lee (Self) Lee. She was housekeeping supervisor for Decatur General Hospital prior to her retirement. She was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, where she served as the song leader, until it closed. She loved quilting and working in her flowers and really enjoyed gospel singings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Wright; a son, Douglas Wright; and a granddaughter, Donnita Shelton James.

She is survived by three daughters, Mattie Ruth Shelton (Ben) of Hartselle, Patricia Hopson of Decatur and Linda Sue McCown (Leonard) of Toney; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Hopson, Michael Hopson, Matt Alpaugh, Joe McKelvy, Clint McCown and Chad McCown.
