Due to the forecast of inclement weather on Saturday morning, the Veterans Parade committee has decided to cancel the events for Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 .The committee felt it was not possible to adequately prepare an event that would honor our veterans in this short period of time. The Veterans Parade committee will invite Maj. Gen. Harrell and the 20th Alabama National Guard group back next year and make inclement weather plans better known.

The Morgan County Cattlemen will distribute free hot dogs and drinks for any veterans on Wednesday, Nov. 11th, at the City parking lot next door to the Life Church, downtown Hartselle.
