Funeral for Jerry Lavely, 54, of Valhermoso Springs will be Sat., June 6, at 11 a.m. at Valhermoso Holiness Church with Bro. Tim Patrick and Bro. Melvin Brown officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in state on Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until service time.

Burial will be in Valhermoso Holiness Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., June 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Lavely died Wed., June 3, 2015, at Crestwood Medical Center. He was born Oct. 14, 1960, in Germany to Gerald Lee Lavely, Sr. and Juanita Faith Rinker Lavely. Mr. Lavely was employed at Lowe’s of Hartselle, working in Commercial Sales. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Lavely, Sr. and two brothers, Marty and Jeff Lavely.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Lavely of Valhermoso Springs; a son, Jared Lee Lavely and a daughter, Kaylee Nicole Lavely, both of Valhermoso Springs; his mother, Juanita Faith Lavely of Indiana; and a sister, Chris Lowe of Indiana.

Pallbearers will be friends.
