Lady Bulldogs fall in semi-finals

ACA 3, Priceville 2

Priceville softball lost 3-2 to ACA in the semi-finals of the Cullman Pre-State Blowout Saturday.

After allowing a two-run homer in top of the first, Priceville answered with a double with bases loaded for a two-run RBI for Hannah Wheeler. Her hit just missed clearing the fence for a grand slam.

Back-to-back singles in the second and a ground-out gave ACA the winning run.

“We are playing with a lot of confidence and unity this weekend, and I couldn’t be any more proud of how well we are playing,” Potter said. “We’re excited to get rolling on Thursday with the area tournament.”
