Eula Russell Halbrooks

Funeral for Eula Russell Halbrooks, 79, of Hartselle will be Sun., March 8, at 2 p.m. at Christ Fellowship Church with the Rev. Danny Garrison officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Sun., March 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Halbrooks died Thur., March 5, at her residence. She was born Sept. 14, 1935, in Cullman County to Leroy Russell and Myrtle Mollie Lou Cook. She retired from working with the housekeeping department at North Alabama Regional and Hartselle Hospitals She was preceded in death her husband, Charles Halbrooks and her parents.

She is survived by two sons, Harlon Halbrooks (Lisa) and Ronnie Halbrooks (Melissa); a daughter, Katrina Halbrooks Garrison (Danny); two brothers, Lelton Russell and Roy Russell; two sisters, Athelene Dukes and Mary Lou Steele; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Lee (Brandon), Josh Halbrooks (Charly), Tori Halbrooks, Katie Kichler (Wayne), Judd James, Elizabeth Halbrooks, Ron Halbrooks (Tracy), Todd Garrison and Erica Gordon; six great-grandchildren, Noah Lee, Mary B. Lee, Lollie Halbrooks, Barrett Halbrooks, Alison Kichler and Lincoln Gordon.

Pallbearers will be Todd Garrison, Ron Halbrooks, Josh Halbrooks, Judd James, Brandon Lee and Kenny McCormick.
