More than 870 University of Montevallo students were named to the honor roll for the fall semester.

The president’s list included the names of 534 students. To make the president’s list, a student must earn at least a 3.8 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and be a full-time student at the university.

Dean’s list honors went to 337 students.

To make the dean’s list, a student must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and be a full-time student at the university.

Students named to the president’s list were Tiffany Ashworth and Emily K. Long, both of Hartselle; Kimberly G. Hagood of Somerville; and Jalen J. Brown, Lynne D. Smith and Joseph A. Tutwiler, all of Decatur.

Students named to the dean’s list are Lillian C. Elmore and Erin V. Ryan, both of Decatur.
