2 arrested, 1 wanted on drug charges

Two people were arrested and another is wanted after the Morgan County Drug Task located “ice” crystal methamphetamine during a search of a Somerville residence.

Patrick Whisenant, 46, was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine. He is being held in the Morgan County Jail on $750,000 bond, which was set by Circuit Judge Jennifer Howell.

Jill Bledsoe, 48, was charged with loitering in a drug house and was transferred to the Morgan County Jail on a $300 bond.

Morgan County Drug Task Force agents are seeking Heather Golden, 34, who has an outstanding arrest warrant with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office for trafficking in methamphetamine.

Sheriff Ana Franklin said in release that task force agents with the assistance of the FBI and Madison/Morgan Counter Strategic Drug Team executed Dec. 16 a search warrant at 29 Water Tower Road in Somerville.

Agents locating four ounces of “ice” crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia items. Agents also seized approximately $2,800 in cash, which authorities believe to be proceeds of drug sales.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Golden is asked to contact the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigation is still ongoing and further arrests are pending.
