Funeral for John Massey, 57, of Hartselle will be Fri., Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Fri., Dec. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Massey died Mon., Dec. 8, 2014, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Nov. 9, 1957, in Morgan County to Ollie Kate Mason. He was a carpenter and was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Cox Massey of Hartselle; a son, Jason Massey of Somerville; daughter, Tisha Massey of Somerville; two brothers, Curtis Masse of Somerville and Wesley Massey of Hartselle; five sisters, Rita Spears of Arab, Jo Vonckx of Tennessee, Barbara Herrington of Hartselle, Rebecca Massey of Hartselle and Anita Massey of Moulton; two grandchildren, Gabrielle Massey and Levi Flemons.
