Jeremy “Jermz” Burns

Funeral for Jeremy “Jermz” Burns, 37, of Hartselle will be Fri., Dec. 5, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Bullard officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Burns died Thur., Nov. 27, 2014, at his residence. He was born May 6, 1977, in Indiana to Raleigh Burns Jr. and Donna Kaye York Burns. He was employed by M & D Mechanical as a welder. He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda Burns of Hartselle; two sons, Michael Burns and Owen Burns, both of Hartselle; a daughter, Brandi Draper of Hartselle; mother, Donna Kaye York Burns of Montgomery; five brothers, Robert Burns (Julie) of Texas, Chuck Burns of Illinois, Jimi Burns of Nevada, Brian Burns of Indiana and Edward Davidson of Montgomery; father and mother-in-law, Mickey and Teresa Thomas of Hartselle; his grandparents; special friend, Rheanna Van Antwerp of Athens; and a host of nieces and nephews.
