Funeral for John Calvin "J.C." Farley, 66, of Decatur was Monday, March 17, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Springer officiating.
Burial was in Oden Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Farley died Thursday, March 13, 2003, at Decatur General Hospital. A native of Lawrence County, he was employed at Becon-Bechtel Construction as a senior general foreman of equipment.
He is survived by his wife, Ilean Drinkard Farley of Decatur; one son, John Calvin Farley Jr., of Decatur; one daughter, Ginger Farley Brown of Moulton; two brothers, Willie South and Hollis "Buster" South, both of Decatur; and one sister, Mamie Sue South Hill of Hillsboro.
Pallbearers were Buddy Beaver, Jason Beaver, Stephen Dietz, Raymon Hall, Michael Oden and Tommy Patton.
