A memorial service for Lynn Goodman, 73, of Hillsboro was Sun., Nov. 23, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Conrey Jones and Jason Jones officiating.

Mrs. Goodman died Fri., Nov. 21, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born April 30, 1941, in Talladega County to Emer Lee Highfield and Letha Edna Gibson Highfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald D. Goodman; and a brother, Carlton Highfield.

She is survived by a son, Chuck Yates (Liz) of Hartselle; two grandsons, Adam Yates (Misty) of Decatur and Drew Yates (Lori) of Hartselle; six great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Yates, Blakely Yates, McKenna Yates, Noah Yates, Miles Yates and Wyatt Yates; two brothers, Jack Highfield of Talladega and Gary Highfield of Talladega; and a sister, Edna Lau (Mike) of Town Creek.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity.
