Brewer girls 53, Danville 30

Brewer’s Lady Patriots improved their record to 3-0 by defeating Danville’s Lady Hawks 53-30 in their home opener Nov. 18.

Tamera Chatman led Brewer in scoring with 15 points. Brook Childers followed with nine points, while Bri Flack scored eight points. Malerie Drinkard had six points and 13 rebounds.

Charlie Anderson paced the Lady Hawks with seven points while Sydni Shelton and Tabetha Hutto each had six points.

 

Brewer boys 45, Danville 29

Brewer’s Patriots picked up their first win of the season, 45-29, over Danville’s Hawks in a home opener Nov. 18.

Colton Bramlett paced the Patriots in scoring with 13 points. Brenden DeBerry followed with 11 points, and John Graves had seven points.

Andres Cordova paced the Hawks with 13 points and five rebounds. Brandon McCormick and Dalton Parker each had four points. Drew Fitzgerald had six rebounds.
