Brewer picks up two wins at Athens

Brewer High School’s volleyball team picked up back-to-back wins at a tri-match at Athens High School Mon., Sept. 22.

The Lady Patriots defeated Athens 25-15, 28-26 and Westminster 25-18, 25-18.

Against Athens, Morgan Stinson had seven kills and two aces, Lyndsey Martin recorded four kills, Kelsey Borden had five kills, Lexus Brindley had nine digs, Caity Jett had three kills and Presley Craft had eight assists.

In the Westminster win, Jett had seven kills, Sydney Wrenn had three kills and four blocks, Brook Cbilders had nine assists, Craft and Chloe Thompson each had three aces and Brindley had six digs.

Lady Patriots win at East Limestone

Brewer’s volleyball team defeated East Limestone 25-13, 25-19 and 25-22 on the road Thursday.

The win gives the Lady Patriots a 10-6 record.

Top scorers for the Lady Patriots were Morgan Stinson with eight kills and seven aces, Presley Craft with 3 kills and 10 assists, Lyndsey Martin with five kills, Hannah Collins with four kills and four digs.
