A federal grand jury today indicted a Somerville man in a child pornography case that include images of children younger than 12 years old, announced U.S. Attorney Joyce White Vance.

A three-count indictment filed in U.S. District Court charged Justin Clay McNeill, 28, of Somerville, with receiving, distributing and possessing child pornography on a computer at his Morgan County residence between July 8, 2013, and July 8, 2014.

Each of the child pornography charges carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

The Alabama Bureau of Investigation investigated the case involving McNeill, which Assistant U.S. Attorneys Elizabeth A. Holt and Jacquelyn M. Hutzell are prosecuting.
