Dear Editor,

I want to compliment both Lee Greene Jr, and Dr. Herman Stringer for their work on making the recognition marker for the crash site of Katy-did a reality. The fact two descendants of two crash victims were present at the marker unveiling on August 16th made it all worthwhile.

The marker was Dr. Stringer’s idea. The organizing of the event working with law enforcement, politicians, and veterans groups was done well by Lee Greene Jr. Hartselle is lucky to have these two men in the community.
