Wiley, Shaneyfelt to wed July 26

Barbara and Bill Helton of Vinemont and Paul Wiley of Hartselle are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Wiley, to Dustin Lynn Shaneyfelt, son of Jackie and David Shaneyfelt of Somerville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Billy Wiley, the late Jean Wiley and the late Loretta and Harold Clayton, all of Hartselle.

She is a 2006 Hartselle High School graduate and earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Alabama with a double major in English and secondary education. She is currently a seventh grade teacher at Hartselle Junior High School.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Irene Shaneyfelt and the late Booth Shaneyfelt, both of Flint, and the late Sue and Buddy Holmes of Eva.

He is a 2003 graduate of Hartselle High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in wildlife sciences from Auburn University. He currently works at Toray Carbon Fibers America, Inc.

The wedding will be July 26, 2014, at First United Methodist Church in Hartselle with a reception following at Terri Pines Country Club in Cullman.
