Put Jesus first, others second, yourself last

Selfish: 1) Caring only or chiefly for oneself; concerned with one’s own interest, welfare etc. regardless of others. 2) Characterized by or manifesting concern or care only for oneself. Ever find yourself a little selfish or a whole lot selfish? Even as Christians, we can find ourselves wanting to make a good impression on others and to please ourselves. In Philippines 2: 1-4 we find there is joy in serving. If there be therefore any consolation in Christ if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the spirit, if any bowels and mercies 2) Fulfill ye my joy that ye be like minded, having the same love, bring of one accord, of one mind. 3) Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves. 4) Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. When we work together caring for others, we show Christ’s example of putting others first. Paul encourages us to put our guard up against being selfish. Joy—Jesus first, others second, yourself last.

Christian love and sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Max King.
