Decatur police arrested and charged a driver and his two passengers with drug offenses after making a traffic stop at Sandlin Road and Everett Drive on April 7.

The driver, Ricky Dewayne Adams, 35, of 2420 Hwy. 31, Hartselle, was charged with Possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a revoked license. He was later transferred to Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $3,500 bond.

His passengers, Tevin Lanorris Owens 20, of 204 Burch Blvd., Moulton, and Christopher Montez Burgess, 27, of 1020 Rosenwalt St., Moulton, were each charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were later transferred to Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $3,000 bond each.
