Robert Wesley “Bobby” Bean

Funeral for Robert Wesley “Bobby” Bean, 59, of Hartselle was Sat., April 5, at 2 p.m. at New Center Baptist Church with the Rev. Ben Bates officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in New Center Cemetery.

Mr. Bean died Wed., April 2, 2014, at his residence. He was born Tues., July 27, 1954, in Morgan County to Wesley Price Bean and Audrey Emily Richardson Bean. He was a member of New Center Baptist Church. He was formerly employed by and retired from Delphi Corporation (GM) in the maintenance department and also worked for Advanced Manufacturing as a machinist. He was a good man that loved farming and riding his motorcycle. He dearly loved his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, William Marcellus Bean; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs William Edward Bean.

He is survived by a son, Wesley Bean (Jennifer) of Haleyville; a daughter, Holly V. Greenway of Moulton; a sister, Jane Bean Dow of Madison; and five grandchildren, Taylor, Mackenzie, Karter, Karlee and Hannah.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Reeves, Raoul Jones, Paul Wayne Tapscott, Kody Vest, Rod Downey, Ray Landis, John Stinson and Ricky Bracken.
