Civil War marker to be dedicated April 5

A historic marker recognizing the Civil War “skirmish” at the Woodall Bridge will be dedicated April 5 at 1 p.m.
The location of the dedication will be 2232 Highway 26 West in Hartselle.
Lee Y. Greene Jr. with the Hartselle Historical Society will present the featured speaker. Mayor Don Hall, State Sen. Arthur Orr, State Rep. Ed Henry and Lee Sentell with the Alabama Department of Tourism have been invited to be guest speakers.
