Lady Bulldogs defeat Falkville

Priceville’s Lady Bulldogs edged Falkville 6-5 in a game played on the road March 10.

McKenzie Parker paced the Lady Bulldogs in hitting with three hits in three at-bats. She had a home run and two singles, two RBIs and scored three runs. Jenna Blankenship added two hits and an RBI, Abby St. John and Alison Varner each singled and had an RBI. Varner singled and had an RBI.

Madison Beddingfield was the winning pitcher, allowing one run on three hits. Kylie Miller pitched four innings in relief, allowing four runs on three hits while striking out two batters and walking two.

Falkville collected eight hits.

Falkville hitters were Emily Gray with a pair of singles and a run scored, Callie Garner with a pair of singles, Makenzie Smith with a two-RBI single, Bailey Anders with a single, two RBIs and a run scored, Cheyenne Wilson with a single and one run scored and Kaitlyn McMurray with a single and an RBI.

Alexis Casteel was tagged with the loss. She allowed four runs on three hits while striking our six batters and allowing five walks. Garner pitched three innings, allowing two runs on three hits while striking out one batter and allowing three walks.

PHS 11, Good Hope 3

The Lady Bulldogs collected 10 hits in an 11-3 win over Good Hope at home March 11.

St John led the way with two singles, four RBIs and two runs scored. Varner had two doubles, knocked in four runs and scored a run, Beddingfield had two hits, an RBI and scored two runs, Wilson had two hits and scored a run, Parker singled and scored a run and Shields had a single and scored two runs.

Beddingfield was the winning pitcher. She allowed three runs on five hits while striking out four batters and walking one.

Vinemont 14, PHS 3

The Lady Bulldogs logged three hits in a 14-3 loss to host Vinemont in the Cullman Umpire Tournament on Thursday.

Alison Varner and McKenzie Parker each doubled and had an RBI and Abby St. John singled, had an RBI and scored two runs.

Madison Beddingfield was the losing pitcher. She gave up nine hits, had a strikeout and allowed four walks in three innings.

Susan Moore 4, PHS 1

Priceville collected seven hits in a loss to Susan Moore in the Cullman Umpire Tournament at Vinemont on Thursday.

Beddingfield had two singles and knocked in her team’s only run. Ana Catherine Law had a pair of singles and Parker, Jenna Blankenship and Sara Beth Wilson each singled.

Beddingfield was the losing pitcher. She allowed four runs on five hits while striking out one batter and allowing three walks.

PHS 12, Good Hope 4

Priceville’s Lady Bulldogs collected 11 hits in a 14-4 win over Good Hope at the Cuillman Umpire Tournament in Vinemont on Saturday.

Sara Beth Wilson had three hits, three RBIs and scored twice. Heather Owens singled twice, had an RBI and scored twice, Mia Grantland had a two-RBI single, Jenna Blankenship had two singles and scored twice, Abby St. John singled ands cored a run, Anna Catheirne Law singled and scored two runs and Alexandria Shields had a single and scored a run.

Madison Beddingfield was the winning pitcher. She allowed one run on two hits while strikling out one batter and walking three.
