June Garnett

Funeral for June Garnett, 69, of Priceville will be Sat., March 15, 2014 at 1 p.m. at New Friendship Baptist Church with the Revs. Greg Standridge and Ron Manley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., March 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Garnett died Tues., March 11, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born June 8, 1944, in Morgan County to Dewitt Talmage Taylor and Katie Lorene Muzzey Taylor. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that enjoyed drawing and her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Garnett of Priceville; a son, Scott Garnett (Charito) of Priceville; a daughter, Christy McCullen (Robert) of New Hampshire; a brother, John D. Taylor of Priceville; four grandchildren, Dane McCullen, Deanna McCullen, Ryan McCullen and Trisha Irish Garnett.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
