Army Capt. Chris Harwell, a native of Pelham, stopped by F.E. Burleson Elementary School Friday to return Flat Stanley to second grader Madeline Watson from Mrs. McClanahan’s class.

Madeline mailed Flat Stanley to Capt. Harwell during his tour of duty with the 101st Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division in Afghanistan recently.
