Jerry R. Ogle

A graveside service for Jerry R. Ogle, 75, of Somerville was Thur., Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. in Shoal Creek Cemetery with Bro. Dewain Clemons officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Ogle died Mon., Feb. 17, 2014, at his residence. He was born April 30, 1938, in Morgan County to J.R. Ogle and Bessie Geneva Swann Ogle. He was the owner of Ogle Body Shop and a pipefitter for a number of years. He served in the Air Force from 1956-1958. Mr. Ogle was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Rudolph Ogle II; three brothers, Charles, Donnie and Michael Ogle; and his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Ogle of Somerville; three daughters, Genevieve Ogle of Georgia, Jacqueline Ogle Wren, (Bobby) and Rena Ogle (Daniel), both of Hartselle; four brothers, Ray Ogle (Than) of Russellville, Ronnie Ogle and Randy Ogle, both of Decatur and Danny Ogle, of Moulton; three grandchildren, Candace Burton, Ryan Ogle and Holly Ogle; four great-grandchildren, Cierra Burton, Jerry Burton, Trey Spruel and Gavyn Dobbins; and a sister-in-law, Gayle Ogle

Pallbearers were nephews.
