‘What changeable love!’

God’s constant love is our place of safety in a wicked world.

Psalm 59: 16-17 states, “But I will sing of thy power, yea I will sing of thy power; yea I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble. Unto thee, O strength, will I sing: for God is my defense, and the God of my mercy.”

Many times even our most trusted friends will turn against us. What changeable love! God’s mercy is everlasting, when love of others fail us or even disappoint us; we can rest in God’s changeless love.
