Man charged with failure to register move
A convicted sex offender is in jail after he didn’t notify authorities after he moved from his registered address.
JV Kelley, 24, was arrested Jan. 31 and charged with failure to notify a move. He is in the Morgan County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
Kelley, a registered, convicted sex offender, is required to register in accordance with statutes of the sexual offenders registration notification act. After special victims unuit investigator Charles Radke and U.S. marshal agent Eric field’s located Kelley, the suspect turned himself into the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.
Kelley had moved from his registered address of 1290 McCutcheon Loop Road in Lacey’s Spring and failed to register his move with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.
