Happy New Year to all of our Hartselle Enquirer readers

I wish all Hartselle Enquirer readers a happy and blessed 2014. I also Thank all of my family and friends for being there for me in 2013 and thank God for all of the many blessings that I have been given.

Special happy New Year wishes go out to Joe and Rachel Slate and family, Kay Farrer, Steve Jackson and Charlie, Alice and Larry Nace, Linda Clemons, Ann Clemons and Phil and Karen Knight. I hope and pray that this year we can bring our entire soldiers home and have peace once again. God Bless America.

Lee in 1807, General Stonewall Jackson in1824 and Lord Byron in 1788.

We lost another one of our country Music Legends recently. Mr. Ray Price passed away at his ranch from cancer at the age of 87. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and many country music fans, such as me.

Shady Grove Baptist Church members express Christian love and heartfelt sympathy to Pat Franklin and family in the death of her uncle, Dewayne Shoemake.
