Funeral for Alan K. Holt, 54, of Hartselle will be Thurs., Dec. 12, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Hastings Cemetery.

Mr. Holt died Mon., Dec. 9, 2013. He was born July 7, 1959, to Hiram B. Holt, Jr. and Geraldine Clem. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and was formerly employed by Lowe’s of Hartselle. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Holt of Hartselle; a son, Keith Holt of California; four daughters, April Holt and Hannah “Cheje” Holt of Nevada, April Free and Datril Caldwell of Hartselle, a brother, Hiram Holt of Athens; two sisters, Cheryl Thornton of Virginia and Missy Holt of Tennessee; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
