William Pope, Sr.

Funeral for William Pope, Sr., 68, of Falkville will be Wed., Dec. 4,at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Floyd Odom officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Bell Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Pope died Sat., Nov. 30, 2013 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born August 20, 1945, in Jefferson County to Robert Van Pope and Beulah Tillery Pope. He was a self employed truck driver and was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by two sons, William Pope, Jr. and wife Kristi and Terry Pope and wife Darlene, all of Falkville; two daughters, Phenicia Akin and husband Steve of Gordo and Virginia Sears and husband Chris of Fairview; five brothers, James Pope, Jerry Pope, Joe Pope, Robert Pope and George Pope, all of Birmingham; a sister, Lois Hartley; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
