Hamblin, Arnold to wed March 8
Mr. and Mrs. Gary Stephen Sullivan of Hartselle and Mr. Frank C. Hamblin Jr. of Vero Beach, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Tonya Dee Hamblin, to Robert Eugene Arnold, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Neal Arnold of Decatur.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Harold and Mary Smith of Monticello, Ky., and the late Coma Hamblin of Vero Beach, Fla., and the late Frank C. Hamblin Sr. of California. She is the step-granddaughter of Kenneth and Jackie Sullivan of Franklin, Ohio. She is a 1998 graduate of Hartselle High School and will graduate in May from the University of North Alabama with a bachelor's degree in biology and will pursue a degree in pharmacy. She is employed by Books-A-Million in Florence.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Barris Arnold and the late Rubye Arnold of Baldwyn, Miss., and Louise Ashmore and the late Eugene Ashmore of Baldwyn, Miss. He is a graduate of Austin High School and is currently a criminal justice major at the University of North Alabama.
The wedding will be held March 8 at 3 p.m. at West Hartselle Baptist Church.
Lamson, Hyatt to wed Feb. 22
Guy and Phyllis Sloan of Hartselle and David and Cheryl Lamson of Flint, Mich., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Lamson, to Bradley Hoyt Hyatt, son of Alvin and Jerri Hyatt, Jr. of Hartselle.
The bride-elect is a 1999 Hartselle High School graduate and is attending Calhoun Community College in Decatur. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Robershaw of Priceville, Mr. and Mrs. Frances Diener of Zypherhills, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Bud Sloan of Chattanooga. She is also the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dwight E. Lamson.
The groom-elect is a 2001 Hartselle High School graduate and is attending Calhoun Community College in Decatur. He is the grandson of Mrs. Max D. Blevins and the late Mr. Blevins of Hartselle and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin H. Hyatt Sr. of Cullman.
The wedding will be held Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church of Hartselle.
