Mr. and Mrs. Ray L. Vest of Danville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Jill Vest, to Gabriel Allen Maxwell, son of Mr. Ricky Maxwell and Ms. Glenda Harper of Decatur.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Delbert Vest and the late Wilma Hensley Vest of Danville and the late Roy Sparkman and Katie Sparkman Kirby of Danville.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Barbara Johnson and the late Mr. Raymond Guyce of Decatur.

The wedding will be held Nov. 16, at Vest Farms in Danville with Bro. Ron Manly officiating. A reception will follow at Vest Farms.
