Fred Vincent

Funeral for Fred Vincent, 88, of Eva will be Sun., Nov. 3, at 2 p.m. at Rock Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Tony Tidwell and Jeff Allred officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Oden Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Sat., Nov. 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Vincent died on Wed., Oct. 30, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born July 16, 1925, in Morgan County to Leldon D. Vincent and Gracie Mae Patton. He was retired from Nicholson File in Cullman. He was a World War II Veteran serving in the U. S. Army and was a wholesale distributor of Health and Beauty Aides. Mr. Vincent was a minister and pastor at Oden Ridge Baptist Church, Rock Creek Baptist Church and Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Freda Vincent of Eva; a son, Joel Vincent and wife Becky of Winchester, Ky.; three grandchildren, Brendan Vincent of Durham, N.C., Alyson Hill and husband Rob of Winchester, Ky., Caitlyn Vincent of Winchester, Ky.

Pallbearers will be Elton Shaddix, Stanley Hall, Jason Smith, Matt Latham, Dereck Coffman, Jerald Patton, Mike Corley and Tony Moses.
