Brenda Diane Allen McGee

A memorial service for Brenda Diane Allen McGee, 59, of Hartselle will be Sun. Oct. 27, at 2 p.m. at Hartselle Church of Christ with Brother Phillip Hines officiating.

Mrs. McGee died Oct. 17, 2013, at her residence. She was born July 18, 1954, to Cecil Allen and Mary Agnes Jenkins Allen. She was a member of Hartselle Church of Christ and a former employee of C.W. Matthews Contracting Company. Her constant companions were her poodles, Cookie and Jazzie. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James Lester and Myrtle Jenkins and Benton and Katie Allen.

She is survived by her husband, Ric McGee; a daughter; Christy Reese, a stepdaughter, Cheryl Styles; and stepson, Drew McGee; parents, Cecil and Mary Agnes Allen; four brothers, Mark Allen, Jeff “Frankie” Allen, Jerry Allen and fiance’e Jennifer, and Jimmy Allen and fiancée Ashley; three sisters, Mary Roy and husband David, Juanice Green and husband Troy and Pam Depreast and husband Don; four grandchildren, Patricia, Jessica, Thomas and Haley; and a great grandchild, Matthew; a host of nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles and cousins; and her Red Hat Sisters from all over.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
