Frances McCutcheon

Funeral for Frances McCutcheon, 64, of Lacey’s Spring was Sunday, Oct. 13, at 3 p.m. at Valhermoso Holiness Church with the Revs. Tim Patrick and Melvin Brown officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Valhermoso Holiness Cemetery.

Mrs. McCutcheon died Thurs., Oct. 10, 2013, at her residence. She was born April 25, 1949, in Morgan County to Frank James and Lorene Roberts James. She was a former employee of Palco-Telecom. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank James and Lorene James Simmons and a brother, Roger James Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Willard McCutcheon; a son, Allen McCutcheon; two daughters, Amy McGowan and Kristi Fortenberry; two step-sons, Mike McCutcheon and Timothy McCutcheon; one stepdaughter, Kay Holt; two brothers, Marlin James and Ernie James; one half brother. Buddy Simmons; three half sisters, Ann Simmons, Jean Shook and Gail Ruffner; two grandchildren, Emalei McCutcheon and Tyler Fortenberry; great-grandchildren, Nevin Barnett, Nyles Barnett and Nalylia Barnett; her honorary grandchildren, Billy Barnett, Michael McCutcheon, Robbie McCutcheon, Jason McCutcheon, Matthew Holt, Tommy McCutcheon, Miranda McCutcheon, Tyler Grantland, Haley Grantland, Lane Grantland and Brooklyn Simmons.

Pallbearers were grandsons.
