Lady Tigers winner in tri-match on road

Hartselle’s Lady Tigers (40-19, 6-0)  claimed a pair of wins in a volleyball tri-match at Walker on Tuesday.

They defeated Northridge 25-18, 25-21 and edged Walker 26-24, 25-20.

Taylor Lybarger led Hartselle in scoring against Northridge with eight kills, four digs, a block and an ace. Haley Jared had seven kills, six digs, three blocks and an ace, Melissa Paul Hill scored 22 assists, three kills, four digs and an ace, Bailey Powell had five kills, eight digs and an ace, Megan Zuck had five kills and three blocks, Sarah Ellen Battles logged seven digs and Jordan Barbrey scored eight digs and an ace.

Against Walker, Jared led the way with eight kills and nine digs, Zuck scored seven kills, a dig, an ace and a block, Hill collected 15 assists, three kills and four digs, Lybarger had two kills, nine digs, two blocks and an ace, Battles had nine digs, Powell had two assists and a block, Barbrey added five digs and Katy Beth Bole had two kills and a dig.
