Danville FFA team wins county land CDE contest

The Danville FFA Chapter won the Morgan County FFA Land CDE Contest held recently at Mr. Doyle Whitlow’s farm in Danville. The team will compete at the district contest in Cullman in October. The contest is set up by the Morgan County Soil and Water Conservation District and sponsored by the NRCS-CD and the Morgan County Farmers Federation. Pictured (L-R) Brad Bole, Foy Kirkland, Luke Hinkle, Lucas Randolph, Jackson Broadfoot, Brent Anders, Drew Cooper and Summer Stidham. Brent Anders was the over-all high individual scorer in the contest. The team received a check and chapter banner for their accomplishment. Sandy Fields is the Danville FFA Advisor.
