James and Mary McClanahan of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Audrey Elizabeth McClanahan, to Schuyler Martin Forman, son of Marty and Pennie Forman of Danville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Velda McClanahan and the late William McClanahan of Hartselle and MIldred Shaneyfelt and the late Cline Shaneyfelt of Falkville. She is a 2009 Hartselle High School graduate and is currently attending Athens State University where she will graduate in December with a B.S. degree in accounting.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Thomas and Joan Jones of Caddo and Charles and Linda Forman of Hartselle. He is a 2009 graduate of Danville High School and a member of the Alabama Army National Guard. He is currently attending Calhoun Community College seeking a B.A. degree in secondary education.

The wedding will be Oct. 5, 2013, at Stone Bridge Farms in Cullman.
