Lady Tigers score area win on road

Hartselle’s Lady Tigers collected a pair of wins in a volleyball tri-match at East Limestone Tuesday afternoon.

They defeated East Limestone 25-9, 25-12 and 25-21 in a best three of five are match and toppled Athens 25-15 and 25-18.

Haley Jared led Hartselle in scoring with 17 kills, eight digs, two blocks and three aces.

Taylor Lybarger followed with 12 kills, five blocks and two digs; Megan Suck had eight kills, five blocks ands two digs; Melissa-Paul Hill was credited with 33 assists, two kills, nine digs and an ace; Sarah Ellen Battles had 13 digs and two assists; Jordan Barber scored seven digs, six acres and five assists; Bailey Powell had three kills and an ace; Hannah Warren had two digs and an assist; Catherine Boodle had three digs and an assist; and Katy Beth Bole had two kills, two blocks and a dig.
