Euretha M. Buchanan Morris

Funeral for Euretha M. Buchanan Morris, 96, of Eva was Sun., Aug. 25 at 2p.m. at Lawrence Cove Baptist Church with Bro. Steven Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Corinth Cemetery.

Mrs. Morris died Fri., Aug. 23, 2013, at her residence. She was born December 27, 1916, in Morgan County to Huston Otto Drinkard and Patre LueVenia Oden Drinkard. She was formerly employed at Redstone Arsenal in Civil Service on an assembly line. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Rodney Drinkard; two stepson, Earl and Roger Buchanan; a stepdaughter, Mary Ann Kircles; a brother, Iley Drinkard; and three sisters, Doris Clemons, Oziller Stinson and Evalee Drinkard.

She is survived by her husband, Willie B Morris; a stepson, Gerald Buchanan and wife Bobbie; a sister, Eleanor Randall of Eva; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
