Falkville Senior Center meets for lunch at Hartselle restaurant

Falkville Senior Center extends happy birthday wishes to Mary Ables on Aug. 20 and Bobby Ball on Aug. 24.

Visiting with Herman and Adell Gibson have been Howard and Helen Gibson of Priceville and Terry and Tracy Randolph and their two children of Eva.

Among those attending the “Back-to-School Bash” at First Baptist Church were Abby and Lilly Ferrell, Lydia and Cooper Williams, Vernon Ayre III, Jimmy and Danny Davis, Cass Dodd and Laney Weaver.

Also attending were Mica Hahn and Kasey Foote.

Members of Falkville Senior Center met at Oh! Bryan’s Family Steak-house Restaurant recently for lunch. Among those dining together were Shirley Sauter, Vivian Summerford, Patsy Clemmons, Gayle Wallace, Jackie Turney, Barbara Asherbranner, Clezell Asherbranner, Martha Garrison, Charles and Linda Williams, Jake and Patty Pike, Terry and Jennue Kelsey, Carol Coke, Faye Anders, Judy McClellan and Movlyn Roberson.

First Baptist Church of Falkville extends belated birthday wishes to Grace Rowe on Aug. 19, Danny Davis on Aug. 21 and Eddie Johnson on Aug. 25.

Michelle Ferrell was honored with a baby shower Sun., Aug. 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the home of Stephanie and Tracy Summerford. Crystal Williams, Beth Lacy, Margaret Laugh-miller, Karen Banks and Phyllis Teague were also hostesses. Laughmiller and Williams assisted in serving the 55 guests fruit mint tea, fresh fruit tray, vegetable tray with dip, miniature quiche, spinach dip, cheese balls and chocolate cake decorated with baby booties.
