Michael Anthony Grant

Funeral for Michael Anthony Grant, 53, of Falkville will be Sat., Aug. 24, at 11 a.m. at Fairview Church of God with the Rev. Milan Dekich officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery in Morgan County. Visitation will be Sat., Aug. 24, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Fairview Church of God.

Mr. Grant died Wed., Aug. 21, 2013, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Feb. 21, 1960, in Morgan County to John William Grant and Betty Ruth Storey Grant. He was employed by Ameri-Cold as a welder. He attended Fairview Church of God and was a faithful member of the Men’s Ministry at Fairview. He greatly enjoyed Grid Iron Conference and was an avid Alabama fan.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Ruth Storey Grant of Falkville; two sisters, Teresa Jordan and husband Dennis of Valhermoso Springs and Margaret Miller and husband Allen of Jasper; a host of nieces, nephews and friends; one great niece; and two great nieces.

Pallbearers will be church members.
