Funeral for Charles Lang, 69, of Somerville will be Sat., Aug. 24, at 2 p.m. at Somerville Baptist Church with Bro. Shane Lewis officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., Aug. 23, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Lang died Mon., Aug. 19, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Parkway Medical Center. He was born Sat., July 8, 1944, in Morgan County to James Lang and Inez Brown Lang. He was a longtime resident of Haines City, Fla. He was preceded in death by his father; and daughter, Kari Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine Lang of Somerville; four sons, William Lang of Moulton, James Lang of Lake Wales, Fla., Michael Lang of Somerville and Joshua Lang of Babson Park, Fla.; four daughters, Teresa Williams of Lake Wales, Fla., Tracy Ellwanger of Davenport, Fla., Wendi Rice of Albertville and Stacy Lang of Decatur; Mother, Inez Brown Lang of Somerville; six brothers, six sisters, 22 Grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
