Willie Myrl Proctor

Funeral for Willie Myrl Proctor, 84, of Hartselle will be Sun., Aug. 11, at 2 p.m. at Speake Christian Fellowship Church with the Rev. Richard Riley officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Lawrence County. Visitation will be Sat., Aug. 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Speake Christian Fellowship Church.

Mrs. Proctor died Aug. 9, 2013, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born Jan. 17, 1929, in Lawrence County to Sammie Lee and Dorothy Rogers Melson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Proctor.

She is survived by five sons, Francis Proctor and wife Silvia of Danville, Clinton Douglas Proctor and wife Rhonda of Phoenixville Pa., Darrel Proctor and wife Debbie of Danville, Doyle Proctor of Hartselle and Eddie Proctor and wife Bobbie Jo of Somerville; five daughters, Margaret Hampton and husband Elbert of Danville, Dorothy McLemore and husband Melvin of Woodstock, Ga., Reanee Watkins and husband Ronald of Bath Springs, Tenn. , Belinda Rittenberry and husband Gary of Chatsworth, Ga., and Teresa Cameron and husband Danny of Hartselle; two brothers, John Dee Melson of Paw Paw, Mich., and Thomas Melson of Harriman, Tenn.; twenty-eight grandchildren, forty-six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
