Northway helps North blow out South

Brewer’s Riley Northway competed in the AHSAA North-South All-Star girls basketball game on Wednesday at the Acadome on the campus of Alabama State University.
Northway started the game and saw 13 minutes of action. She finished with two points, five rebounds, an assist and a steal.
The North All-Stars jumped out to 20-11 lead at the end of the first quarter and pulled away over the final three quarters to win 84-36.
The North was led by MVP Shakayla Thomas, who finished with 19 points in just 14 minutes of action.
