Stevie Lamar Rodgers

Funeral for Stevie Lamar Rodgers, 55, of Hartselle was Sat., June 15, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Penn and the Rev. Doug Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Mr. Rodgers died Wed., June 12, 2013, at his residence. He was born May 28, 1958, in Cullman County to Luther L. Rodgers and Dorothy Renee Burney Rodgers. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents .

He is survived by his wife, Dorstor Ann Moore Rodgers of Hartselle; two daughters, Tosha Adams of Cullman and Jenny McDonald of Vinemont; a brother, Tony Ausbon of Kentucky; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Robert Moore, Donnie Moore, Steve Boils, Justin Letson, Byron Vinzant and Greg Speegle.

Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Whitten, Doug Street, Tommy Wallace and Tim Butler.
