Dear Editor,

I attended the 2013 Brewer High School Graduating Class Tues., May 21, at 7:30 p.m. My grandson was in the graduating class. I was in a wheelchair pushed by my friend. No special gate was available for handicapped people. There was one big line and some people almost ran over us. Several deputies from the Sheriff’s Department were there by the fence, doing nothing that I could see.

After the graduation was over, everyone was trying to get out five different roads. It took so long. Where were those deputies? They should have been out there directing traffic, so we could have gotten out sooner. Everything is such a hassle anymore.
