Do the things you need to do

I don’t know what you might say about hobbies, but there are a couple of things I like to do.

I enjoy reading inspirational romance books and, in the summer, I love to go to yard sales.

Do I let these things interfere with other things I should be doing?

I’m afraid I do.

I could be visiting our sick and shut-ins, making a phone call or maybe helping in a Hands and Feet Ministry.

If we focus on the things that we need to do, there will be time to enjoy the extra things. By helping those around us, God will be glorified through us.

Christian love and sympathy is extended to Tammie and Darryl Gulley in the loss of Tammie’s grandmother, Verdie Adamson and to Linda and Greg Terry in the loss of Linda’s dad, Bobby Wiley.
