Rose Partridge

Funeral for Rose Partridge, 66, of Hartselle was Fri., April 19, at 5 p.m. at Somerville Church of God with the Revs. Michael Gunter and Danny Ricks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Somerville Church of God Cemetery.

Mrs. Partridge died Tues., April 16, 2013, at her residence. She was born Dec. 11, 1946, in Darke County, Ohio, to Lewis A. “Pete” Maloy and Pauline Welker Maloy. Mrs. Partridge was a Christian who loved her family and made holiday traditions that will long be remembered and continued. Her devotion to her family was her legacy, which we will all cherish. She was a homemaker and wonderful mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Harless Floyd “Bill” Partridge, and her parents.

She is survived by a son, William Floyd Partridge Jr. and wife Candis Mooneyham Partridge of Priceville; two daughters, Tammy Partridge Hancock and husband Daron and Teri Partridge Appleton, all of Hartselle; two brothers, Jerry Lee Lewis “Jake” Maloy and Tommy Carl Maloy, both of Ohio; and two sisters, Betty Maloy Copeland and Margaret Maloy Hawes, both of Ohio.

Pallbearers were Alex Cannon, Brad Clark, Austin Partridge, Dustin Hill, Spence Appleton and Jordon Appleton.
