Speake, MacBeth to wed

Future MacBeths

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Emmett Speake of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa DeAnn Speake of Vestavia Hills to Ronald Alyn MacBeth III of Vestavia Hills, son of Dr. Ronald Alyn MacBeth Jr. of Dublin, Ga. and JeriLynn Brooks MacBeth of Pensacola, Fla.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ralph T. Summerford of Hartselle and the late Ralph T. Summerford and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lamar N. Speake. A 2005 graduate of Hartselle High School, she received her bachelor of science degree in biology from Birmingham Southern College and is currently a student at the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Medicine working on her MD. She is a member of Chi Omega Fraternity.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Heber C. Brooks of Molino, Fla., Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Alyn MacBeth Sr. of Pensacola, Fla. and Donna Brown of Gulf Breeze, Fla. He is a 2006 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Pensacola, Fla., graduated from Birmingham Southern College with a bachelor’s degree in biology and is currently a student at The University of Alabama Birmingham School of Dentistry working on his DMD. He is a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 27, 2010, at 4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Hartselle.
